WordPress 2.3 has been released just as promised. Thanks to all developes, bug-hunters and everyone in the community that has helped to improve WordPress. Most of the upcoming blog posts on this site are going to be about upgrading from previous versions. As for now I recommend to take your time with upgrading. WordPress 2.2.3 ist stable and there is no reason why you should be in a hurry.

Wait for some information about experiences from advanced users to appear on the net. Join an upgrade party, where those people could assist you with upgrading!
